The Bible spoke about wearing chains on the leg twice, Both occurred in the book of Isaiah. The first one I verse 16 while the second one in verse 18.

Biblical significance

Moreover, the lord said because the daughter of Zion are proud, and walk with heads held high and seductive eyes and go along with mincing steps and tinkle the chains on their feet ,therefore the Lord will afflict the scalps of the daughters of Zion with scabs.The Lord will make their foreheads bare.

In verse 16 the phrase “twinkle the bangles”refer to anclets that makes noise ass the person walks. They were common in ancient times and are still in use in modern times.

The Bible says nothing positive or negative about wearing anclets, but that doesn't mean wearing an anklet is bad. But wearing an anklet could be sinful, it depends on the reasons why one wear the anklet. If wearing an anklet is connected to the worship of false god or occult then wearing an anklet would be wrong if there's some other medications for wearing an anklet that does not give glory to supreme God or that reflects an immodest attitude, then wearing it could be wrong the reason and situations for wearing it determines the factor.

In conclusion, Please note that when the anklets was mentioned in the book of Isaiah 3:16-18 the attitude of women wearing the chains were wrong. they were dressing and adoring themselves with jewelries to attract attentions to themselves, as a result of this God was displeased with their pride.

God is more concerned with our hearts attitudes than our external appearances. God wants us to have attractive hearts.
