How to Unblock Yourself When Someone Blocks You on WhatsApp


Has someone ever blocked you on WhatsApp and you would love to know how to unblock yourself? If yes, then this article is for you.

If you've never been blocked also, you can also learn this trick for future purpose.

WhatsApp is the most used messaging application in the world and many people use it daily for business and for fun.

WhatsApp which has become what everyone uses. People at one time or another see the need to block - restrict people from able to text and call them due to many reasons.

Some of the reasons I have highlighted below;

1. Disagreement or quarrel between you and the person.

2. Sending of irrelevant broadcast and fake news to people.

The last reason seem to be the crucial reason for you to learn this trick.

3. There have been a huge number of scammers on WhatsApp and most will block you after getting money from you.

You can also use this trick for personal reasons, maybe if you have a misunderstanding with someone. The person blocks you- you're unable to text or call and you want to settle the misunderstanding.

How can you unblock yourself when someone blocks you on WhatsApp? Follow the simple steps below:

1. Save the number somewhere else or just write it down and then delete the number from your phone contacts.

2. Backup all your chats to your Google drive account.

How can you do this?

1. Launch WhatsApp on your phone, press the 3 small circles that looks like an "I" in the top-right corner of the WhatsApp home screen.

2. Click "Settings" then click on "Chats" and then choose "Backup" option.

3. Select or add a Google account( Gmail address) you want to backup your chats to. Make sure the email account is logged in on your phone.

4. Your chats will start saving to your Google account. Note that this process will consume data, so make sure you have enough data.

5. After it prompts you that your backup has been successful.

Next step is "deleting your WhatsApp account"

How can you do this?

Exit and open WhatsApp again. Press that button on the top-right corner again. Click on "Account" then click on "Delete my account"

After deleting your account, your WhatsApp data will be deleted from all contacts and you will automatically be unblocked by those who unblocked you.

6. Clear your WhatsApp data. Navigate to your phone settings, click on "Apps" look for and choose WhatsApp, then click "Clear data"

7. Uninstall WhatsApp and reinstall it back.

8. Follow the WhatsApp registration process accordingly.

9. It will reach a stage in the registration process where you will be prompted to choose whether you want to check for backup chats in your Google account. Accept it and restore your chats.

10. After registering WhatsApp finish. Save the number of the person that blocked you to your phone contacts and refresh your WhatsApp contacts.

11. Message them and they will surprisingly receive your text.
