The owners of Bet9ja, Merrybet, Baba Ijebu and 1960bet among other more notable owners of betting websites in Nigeria are relatively unknown compared to the popularity their brands have garnered. They have however become highly sought after ever since the break out of the Nigerian sports betting industry. In fact, many reports claim that the cumulative earnings of the betting industry amounts to an almost ridiculous figure of about N30 billion per month! Isn't that crazy?

Kunle Soname is the man behind Bet9ja. He is the founder of the biggest football and sports betting company in Nigeria with the trade name “KC Gaming Networks Limited”. The lottery website is licensed under the Lagos State Lotteries Board, with its headquarters located in Lagos, Nigeria. He is a politician, entrepreneur, and a sport enthusiast.

NAIRABET

Otunba Akin Alabi is an Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, Author and politician. He was born on the 31st of March 1977. He is the author of the widely sold business and marketing book, "Small Business Big Money" and is the man behind NairaBET, Nigeria's first sports bookmaking company.
