Don't waste your money buying fake phones, use these tips to spot a real Android phone, and iPhone.

The problem in the market is that Android phones, and iPhones are now produced in bulk quantities, and most people make use of the brands very well. Due to the increase of Android and iPhone use, it has made it easier for people to clone them, and sell fakes in the market.

This has made it quite difficult for people, to differentiate between original and fake. Most people waste tons of money, buying fake phones at the expense of the real ones.

I will outline ways by which one can identify fake phones.

1. Camera button and logo placement.

The way the camera button and logo is placed is very important. Most phone manufacturers, places the logo at the back of the phone, but if you find the logo at the front then it's fake. Most importantly if the iPhone logo has a glassy finish then it's fake.

2. On screen logo

This is very important because, when you turn on the phone it should display the manufacturer logo. Android displays the name of the phone, while iPhone displays the apple logo. Anything other than that is a fake product.

3. Camera quality

We all know that iPhone camera is superb and extraordinary. When buying an original iPhone, you need to look out for the camera quality. If the camera is blurry, or not sharp then it's a fake.

4. Loading the factory reset mode

When the Android phone is turned off, press the power on button + the volume up key simultaneously, for about 10 seconds. If the Android phone is original, then the Android recovery menu will appear.

Extra tips for iPhone users

1. If you are buying an iPhone and you find google playstore installed, then it's a fake.

2. If the iPhone has space for external memory card, then it's fake.

3. If the iPhone displays a welcome logo, instead of the iPhone apple logo then it's fake.

4. Most importantly, the IMEI number of the iPhone can be verified on the Apple website, to confirm if it's fake.

With this few important tips, you should be able to differentiate between a fake and original Android phone or iPhone.
